- Mode of Action:
- Barazide has a two way action.
- It interferes with the neuromuscular process at the nerve-muscle junction causing permanent prevention of muscle contraction leading to Paralysis and death of insect.
- It also affects the biochemical processes and act as chitin inhibitor inside the insect causing abortive moulting. Hence the insect cannot move to the next instar stage and finally dies
It is a highly effective combination of 2 molecules with dual action.
It is a composed of Novaluron 5.25% and Emamectin benzoate 0.9% SC
It has an immediate knockdown effect which controls damages immediately
Novaluron belongs to the insecticide class called Benzoylphenyl ureas, which has ingestion action that inhibits Chitin sysnthesis of immature insects and disrupts their normal growth.
Emamectin Benzoate has a unique action like formation of reservoir of molecule in each leaf.
When targeting insect feed on the foliage, then a molecule in leaves is released which inhibits muscle contraction and leads to death of the pest.
Dosage : 80-100gm/acre.
