Columbus is a post emergence herbicide of Aryloxyphenoxy-propionates group and is used for the control of important narrow leaf weeds in Wheat. The active ingredient clodinafop-propargyl and the safener cloquintocet-mexyl are absorbed through he leaves and shoots actively growing plants. They are rapidly translocated in the plants and accumulate in the meristematic tissues. Which gives excellent control over narrow leaf weeds.
Dose: 160 gm per acre for Wheat crop.
