Caused by : Rhizactonia solani, Pythium spp.
Damage symptoms
Mainly young seedlings get affected.
Base part of the seedlings become waterlogged near the soil line.
If we pull those plants their growth will be stunted.
Wilting of leaves and finally leads to death of the plant
Management
Seed treatment with Thiram @ 1.5-2g/kg of seeds or Agrosan @2g/kg of seeds.
Use of Redomil gold 2.5kg/ha.
