Caused by : Ralstonia solanacearum

Disease symptoms
We can observe water soaked spots on the collar region of the pseudo stem and rises both upwards and downwards.

Drooping and curling of leaf margins of the lower leaves which spread upwards.

Yellowing starts from the lower leaves and gradually progresses to the upper leaves.
Willting of plants in serious infestation

Milky liquid oozes out from the rhizome due to excess moisture.

Seed Treatment with Streptocycline 200ppm for 30mins and we have to dry in shade before planting

Drench with Bordaeux mixture1%
Spray Redomil gold – 2.5kg/ha

By using Calcium Nitrate we can get rid of this disease
